Defended Agency’s Disqualification of Competitor

We intervened in a competitor’s GAO protest and proved that the protester’s own proposal contradicted its protest claims, securing client’s contract award.

A disappointed offeror challenged the award of a contract to our client by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for operations, repair, inspection, and rehabilitation of project facilities, water control structures, and other features at lakes in Mississippi managed by the agency. The protester argued that the agency ignored information demonstrating that it had performed similar work as a subcontractor on the projects identified in its proposal. We intervened in the protest and pointed out that the protester not only failed to state that it had performed as a subcontractor on those projects but also that its proposal contradicted that assertion. The GAO denied the protest.
